WWW-What I’m Reading…and Writing

WWW WednesdayWWW Wednesday – What I’m Reading

Found this on a few blogs and it looks like fun! Originated from MizB of Should be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading? • What did you recently finish reading? • What do you think you’ll read next?

Post what you’re reading in the comments or a link to your own WWW Wednesday on your blog!!  Happy Reading!!

What I’m reading

written in bloodDiana Gabaldon – Written in my Own Heart’s Blood

If you’re one of the many who have read Outlander you’ll understand why I’m excited to start this one.  I love Jamie Fraser!  I think he might be my favourite book boyfriend – unconventional, maybe but who wouldn’t want to be loved the way he loves Claire!

Wallbanger – Alice Clayton

Still liking it!

What I finished

Sea of Monsters – Rick Riordan

Usually when I read a series, I don’t think much of the second book but I’m happy to say this wasn’t the case in the Percy Jackson series.  It’s a great adventure read for kids (and kids at heart like me!)

OMG.  That’s all I’ll say.  Loved it.  (I’ll say that too) I raced through this one last week.  My Goodreads review

What I’ll read next

Written in Heart’s Blood is going to take a while, so I haven’t thought that far ahead yet.  I think I’ll need something light and fluffy.  Diana Gabaldon writes epics!

What I’m Writing…

I have finally released my latest Anna Ellis book – I write erotic romance under the pen name Anna Ellis – check my other site out if that’s something that floats your boat annaellisauthor.wordpress.com. I managed to finish a short novella as well.  This means it’s finally time to finish my next Holly book!!

I have a very, very rough draft of Absinthe Doesn’t Make the Heart Grow Fonder thanks to Camp NaNoWriMo in April and I’ve just signed up for the session in July to finish it off. Kids are in their own camp so it’s time for me to get to work!  If you’re looking for me, I’m writing!!

  1. My 10 year old son loved the Percy Jackson series! I’m so excited when I can get him to read anything!! So, that’s high praise for the series! lol!

I have Code Name Verity to read also. I’m glad you liked it!

    • It was great – you’ll love it! My 11 year old loves the Percy Jackson movies, but I have a hard time tempting him with any books. I so wish he’d give it a try because I know he’ll love them!
